Note:  12-17 years can obtain a Minor P.A.L. license. This license allows the licensee to be in possession of a firearm (non-restricted), ammunition, and to purchase ammunition (they can not purchase a firearm). Minor licenses convert to a regular P.A.L. license upon license renewal on their 18th birthday.
